Kettlebell H.I.I.T. Workout

 

Happy New Year and Happy Hump Day. I know I usually post on the weekend, but there is rain in the forecast for this weekend. So I capitalized on the nice weather and did a new workout. My lung capacity is not 100%, but I feel good enough that I didn’t want to miss another week. I focused on different types of kettlebell swings in between each strength move. I thought that would be a way for me to ease back into it. The workout breakdown is below. I used some dumbbells, my 20 lb kettlebell, my BOSU ball and my 18″ box. Use what you have available to you, and work at your own pace. The workout is 10 second rest and 50 second work, and I went through it 3 times.

1. Dumbbell Skier Swings
2. 3x’s Plank Jack to Kick Through
3. Kettlebell Swing Squat
4. Snatch to Reverse Lunge Right then Left
5. Right Arm Kettlebell Swing
6. Elevated Plank Down/Up
7. Left Arm Kettlebell Swing
8. Squat on BOSU Hold Shoulder Press
9. Kettlebell Swing
10. Box Up Alternating Side Leg Lift
