Chocolate Protein Pudding


I came across this recipe in the Oxygen Magazine, and it sounded too good to pass up. I whipped it up yesterday and found it to be very satisfying. It is very rich and chocolatey. Perfect for when you are craving some chocolate. I did use my food processor, although, I am sure you could use a blender. I would recommend mashing up the avocado before you combine the ingredients. I didn’t do that and the texture of my pudding is not super smooth. It still tastes great.

Chocolate Protein Pudding:

Makes 4 – 4 ounce servings

1 Avocado, mashed

1 Banana, mashed

2 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder

1/4 cup of Maple Syrup or Honey (I used honey, because I didn’t have Maple Syrup on hand)

2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder

2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Almond Milk


Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth, scraping down sides as necessary. Place in 1/2 cup serving bowls and refrigerate for 40 minutes to 1 hour. Top with sliced bananas, strawberries, raspberries, or other clean topping and serve.

Calories per 1/2 cup serving  = 190

Fat = 8 grams  (Saturated 1.5 grams)

Carbohydrates = 26 grams

Protein  = 7
